Insecurity at work can thwart anyone's career even before it takes off. Like any other career option, acting too comes with its share of insecurities, which if not conquered can prove detrimental. Parineeti, who acknowledges the possibility of an actor going through a dry spell when it comes to getting the right movies and roles, feels the fear that stems from insecurities can also turn into a recipe for victory.
"There is no denying the fact that insecurities exist for actors too. Everybody in the industry works hard, but you have to understand the fact that as actors, our careers are not in our hands. We depend entirely on the acceptance by the viewers. Everybody wants to be an actor, a director, and works diligently. I have given my best in 'Hasee Toh Phasee'. But some make it, and some don't because some like you, and some don't; some are born with the face, and some not. So yes, these ideas do exist.
