जानिए, दुनिया के सबसे प्रदूषित शहरों में है भारत के किस शहर का नाम

दिल्ली पर सबसे प्रदूषित होने का लगा दाग अब मिटता नजर आ रहा है। वर्ल्ड हेल्थ ऑर्गनाइजेशन (डब्लूएचओ) की नई रिपोर्ट से इस बात का खुलास हुआ है। रिपोर्ट में दिल्ली को दुनिया के सबसे ज्यादा प्रदूषित शहरों की सूची में नीचे रखा गया है। हालांकि इस सूची में भारत के कई शहरों को टॉप टेन लिस्ट में शामिल किया गया है

जबोल दुनिया का सबसे प्रदूषित शहर
डब्लूएचओ की नई रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक ईरान केे जबोल को दुनिया का सबसे प्रदूषित शहर घोषित किया गया है। जबकि भारत के चार शहरों को टॉप टेन प्रदूषित शहरों की सूची में शामिल किया गया है।

11 वें स्थान पर दिल्ली
डब्लूएचओ की ओर से जारी नई लिस्ट में दिल्ली को 11 वें स्थान पर रखा गया है। 103 देशों की 3000 शहरों से प्राप्त आंकड़ों के बाद ये सूची तैयार की गई है। रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक बारीक कणों.. पीएम 2.5 और पीएम 10 के स्तर की जांच की गई। जिसमें दिल्ली के प्रदूषण में वर्ष 2014 के मुकाबले बहुत सुधार हुआ। वर्ष 2014 में दिल्ली में बारीक कणों.. पीएम 2.5 का स्तर काफी अधिक था। पिछली बार इस रिपोर्ट को तैयार करने में डब्लूएचओ ने 1600 शहरों केे प्रदूषण को नमूनों को अपनी लिस्ट में शामिल किया था। जबकि इस बार पिछलीी बार से 1400 ज्यादा शहरों को शामिल किया गया है।

टॉप टेन सूची में भारत के चार शहर

भारत के इन शहरों में सबसे पहला नाम मध्य प्रदेश के शहर ग्वालियर का है। ग्वालियर को दुनिया का दूसरा सबसे प्रदूषित शहर बताया गया है। वहीं एमपी काा पड़ो़सी राज्य उत्तर प्रदेश भी इस मामले में ज्यादा पीछे नहीं है। यूपी के शहर इलाहाबाद को भी टॉप टेन सूची में रखा गया है। इलाहाबााद को दुनिया का तीसरा सबसे प्रदूषित शहर बताया गया है। Read more http://www.jagran.com/

Over 17,000 people infected with Ebola in Sierra Leone: WHO

Numbers released on Tuesday by WHO include about 200 new cases since data was published yesterday. More than 6,000 people have died. The vast majority of the infected are in Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone.

Also on Tuesday, Sierra Leonean Health Ministry Spokesman Jonathan Abass Kamara said that Dr. Thomas Rogers has tested positive for the disease and was admitted a day earlier to the British-built treatment center in Kerry Town, near the capital. Rogers had been working at Connaught Hospital in Freetown.

He is being cared for at a special clinic reserved for infected health care workers that is staffed by British army medics. The WHO has sharply revised down its tally of Ebola deaths in Liberia, after a jump of more than 1,000 in the death toll there.

The UN health agency said late on Monday that 3,145 people in Liberia had died from the disease, which is also hitting neighboring Guinea and Sierra Leone hard.

Figures published Friday put the death toll at 4,181, a jump of more than 1,000 deaths from two days earlier.

Spokesman Tarik Jasarevic said on Tuesday that the Friday toll mistakenly included non-Ebola deaaths.

The agency has said data from the outbreak has been difficult to get and there have been big swings in the numbers, as cases are reclassified or backlogs cleared.

The latest data show 5,987 people have died in the three worst affected countries.
