सुशील मोदी ने कहा कि एक ओर जहां सभी वर्गो के आरक्षण को खत्म करने की मांग करने वाले हार्दिक पटेल नीतीश कुमार के पक्ष में प्रचार करने आने वाले हैं वहीं दूसरी ओर पटेल के आंदोलन का समर्थन करने वाले नीतीश कुमार और लालू यादव आरएसएस प्रमुख मोहन भागवत के बयान पर गला फाड़ रहे हैं। इससे क्या लालू- नीतीश का दोहरा चरित्र उजागर नहीं हो रहा है? नीतीश कुमार और लालू यादव बतायें कि क्या वे दलितों- पिछड़ों के आरक्षण को खत्म करने के पक्ष में हैं? आरएसएस प्रमुख मोहन भागवत के बयान को तोड़- मरोड़ कर हाय तौबा मचाने वाले नीतीश कुमार और लालू यादव बतायें कि क्या हार्दिक पटेल के समर्थन से आरक्षण के मुद्दे पर उनका दोहरा चरित्र उजागर नहीं हो गया है?

लालू के दूसरे बेटे तेजप्रताप यादव ने भी मंडे को महुआ विधानसभा क्षेत्र से अपना नामांकन भर दिया। आरजेडी सुप्रीमो और तेजस्वी यादव भी साथ में थे। इस दौरान गांधी मैदान में हुई सभा में लालू के साथ उनके बेटे भी भाजपा और पीएम नरेन्द्र मोदी पर जमकर बरसे। 

लालू ने जहां उनके बयान को तोड़ मरोड़ कर पेश करने का आरोप भाजपा पर लगाया वहीं नरेन्द्र मोदी पर भी निशाना साधा। उन्होंने कहा कि आरक्षण के मुद्दे पर बीजेपी फंस गई है ऐसे में वह उनके बयान को तोड़ मरोड़ रही है। बीजेपी ने जो वादा किया था उसे पूरा नहीं किया। 

वहीं बीजेपी बीफ वाले बयान पर कहा कि मैनें कब कहा गौ मांस खाने की बात दिखाओ हमको। काटजू ने कहा मैं खाता हूं।

आरजेडी सुप्रीमो लालू प्रसाद का विवादित बयान आया था शनिवार को। उसकी गूंज रविवार को भी सुनाई देती रही। लालू प्रसाद ने कहा था कि, हिन्दू भी गौ मांस खाते हैं। मांस खाने वाला गाय, बकरा, मुर्गा नहीं देखता। इस बयान के बाद विवाद बढ़ा था और लालू को लाचार होकर सफाई देनी पड़ी थी कि बीफ मतलब सिर्फ गाय का मांस नहीं होता.

 

वोट के लिए गौमांस भी खा सकते हैं लालू

अब रविवार को बीजेपी के सीनियर नेता और एक्स डिप्टी सीएम सुशील मोदी ने ट्वीट किया। ट्वीट कर कहा कि नीतीश कुमार ने गांव- गांव में शराब की भट्ठियां खुलवा दी। इन्हें फिर मौका मिला तो गोमांस (बीफ) के लिए बूचड़खाने भी खुलवा देंगे।

आरजेडी सुप्रीमो लालू प्रसाद सोशल मीडिया में हर दिन भाजपा को जवाब देते दिख रहे हैं। उनके निशाने पर पीएम नरेन्द्र मोदी है। संडे को भी टवीट कर लालू ने नरेन्द्र मोदी के काला धन वापस लाने वायदे पर कटाक्ष किया। लालू ने मोदी पर हमला करते हुए आरोप लगाया है कि विदेशों में जमा काला धन मोदी के दोस्तों का ही है। इसलिए वे उसे वापस नहीं लाना चाहते। 

अपने टवीट में लालू ने लिखा है ' विदेश में जमा काला धन वापस नहीं लाना चाहती बीजेपी क्योकि वो अरबों करोड़ रुपये का सारा काला धन मोदी के पूंजीपतियों मित्रों और भाजपा नेताओं का है.' इसके अलावा लालू ने अपने एक अन्य ट्वीट में आरोप लगाया है कि भाजपा चुनावों में काले धन का इस्तेमाल कर रही है।

बिहार में बिजली की हालत सबसे खराब

एक सर्वे के अनुसार पूर्वी भारत में बिजली के क्षेत्र में बिहार की हालत सबसे खराब है। ये रिपोर्ट फ्0 अगस्त को आई है। इसमें बिहार में बिजली की स्थिति को बताया गया है। बीजेपी ऑफिस में आयोजित प्रेस कांफ्रेस में ये बातें केंद्रीय ऊर्जा और कोयला मंत्री पीयूष गोयल ने कही। गोयल पूर्वी राज्यों पर आइआइटी स्टूडेंट्स की सर्वे रिपोर्ट का खुलासा कर रहे थे.

 

गांवों में बिजली की हालत पहले से सुधरी

पीयूष गोयल ने कहा कि अभी महज ख्0 प्रतिशत गांवों में ही बिजली मिलती है। राजद- कांग्रेस की सरकार के समय मात्र क्0 प्रतिशत गांवों में ही बिजली मिलती थी। सीएम नीतीश कुमार पर निशाना साधते हुए कहा कि नीतीश कहते हैं कि हमने ख्9 हजार गांवों में बिजली पहुंचा दी है, पर पंचायतों और गांवों में बिजली को लेकर सरकार का काफी रवैया सुस्त है। इन गांवों के क्0 फीसदी घरों में भी बिजली नहीं पहुंच पायी है। कहा कि बिजली के पोल तो लग गए पर तार नहीं पहुंचे। ट्रांसफॉर्मर जलने पर उसे लंबे समय तक बदला नहीं जाता.

Rs 7.60 lakh unaccounted cash, 30,365 litres liquor seized in Bihar

Of the Rs 7.60 lakh cash seizure, the highest Rs 3.96 lakh was recovered from Araria district followed by Rs 1.53 lakh in Vaishali district, Rs 1.16 lakh in Saran district and Rs 94,900 from Aurangabad district, the release issued by the office of the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), cited.

The authorities also seized 30,365 litres of liquor during their drive against country/foreign liquor, it said. In cases related to violation of Model Code of Conduct, 126 were related to defacement of public properties and five to private properties, the release mentioned, adding 14 cases were lodged in connection with misuse of vehicles and three related to violation of loudspeaker Act, besides six cases for illegal meeting/speech etc.

As under enforcement of law and order, 15 arms/weapons and 61 cartridges were seized, while 121 licensed arms verified and 901 licensed arms deposited, it said.

The cancellation of licensed arms stood at 95 and 635 non-bailable warrants were executed, the release said, adding Rs 12.76 lakh in fine was collected during vehicle checking.

Fight against poverty will go on, says Lalu Prasad

"The BJP and the RSS want to take away the reservation of the backward and the poor people. I won't let their dreams come true. This fight against poverty will go on," Lalu told the reporters here. An FIR was lodged yesterday against the RJD chief for provoking caste feelings during a speech two days earlier in Raghopur.

Lalu had called the poll a backward-versus-forward fight and a Mahabharata exhorted Yadavs to stay awake and united and said that the RSS is full of Brahmins

Bihar will witness five-phased elections between October 12 and November 5. Counting of votes will take place on November 8.

Sonia, Rahul to address nearly 20 rallies in Bihar

Sonia will address at least two rallies in Kahalgaon Assembly segment in Bhagalpur district and Vajirganj constituency in Gaya districts on October 3. She will also address three rallies on October 17 in different assembly segments. "With different Congress candidates seeking her rallies in their respective constituencies during campaigning, Congress president may visit the state in early November to address two or three more rallies," a senior party leader said.

Sonia Gandhi addressed the Swabhiman Rally of the grand alliance on August 30 in Patna. Rahul Gandhi will also address over half a dozen rallies on October 26 and 30. He will visit Bihar on October 7 to address three rallies in Bachwara segment in Begusarai district, Barbigha in Sheikhpura district and Chenari in Rohtas district.

The Congress vice president has already addressed a rally in Ramnagar in West Champaran district on September 19. According to Congress leaders here, Sonia and Rahul will share the podium with star campaigners of the grand alliance - Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and RJD chief Lalu Prasad - in two or three rallies, if not more.

Jitan Ram Manjhi to contest from two assembly seats

"Manjhi will contest from Imamganj assembly constituency and Makhdumpur assembly constituency as HAM candidate," party spokesperson Danish Rizwan said, adding that the decision was taken on Sunday.

Imamganj city is in Gaya, Manjhi's home district which is considered Maoist-affected. He will contest against Bihar Assembly Speaker and JD-U candidate Uday Narain Choudhary from here. Manjhi had earlier announced he will contest from Makhdumpur Assembly constituency in Jehanabad district.

Last Friday HAM released its first list of 13 candidates for the Bihar Assembly polls and on Sunday the party released its second list of seven candidates. HAM is contesting from 20 seats in the 243-member Bihar assembly as part of the Bharatiya Janata Party-led National Democratic Alliance.

BJP plays backward caste card to counter 'Mandal' politics

In order to woo the Dalits, Other Backward Castes (OBCs) and Extremely Backward Castes (EBCs), the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has ruled out any 'sawarna' (upper caste) person becoming the Chief Minister if the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance won two-thirds majority in the state polls.

With 'caste' factor, re-entrenched by recommendations of reservations by the the Mandal Commission, again dominating the campaigning for Bihar polls, senior BJP leader and Union Minister Giriraj Singh said that the next Bihar Chief Minister would be either from the Dalits, OBCs or EBCs and not an upper caste.

"An upper caste cannot become the Chief Minister of Bihar; it is certain that if the BJP-led NDA comes to power, the next Chief Minister will be either from the OBCs or EBCs," the Union Minister - who belongs to the powerful and landed Bhumihar upper caste with a strong presence in the state politics - told the media here.

The BJP leader played this 'backward caste Chief Minister card' two days after RJD chief Lalu Prasad cited that the Bihar Assembly polls were a fight between the backward and forward castes.

Amit Shah begins Bihar tour for final poll push

Joined by party's election in-charge Ananth Kumar, the BJP chief, who arrived here today, will preside over nine regional meetings across the state in which key leaders and workers from all 38 districts will participate, Bihar BJP spokesperson Sanjay Mayukh said.

He will also work to placate the dissident voices that have arisen over a number of reasons, from tickets being given to turncoats from JD(U) and RJD and allegedly to those with criminal background to denial of nomination to the kin of some leaders.

"Amit Shah wants to ensure that the entire party apparatus is solidly behind the goal to win the assembly elections as the last leg of campaign starts. Whatever tactical changes in campaign or toning up of management at local and booth level is required will be done by him," a party source added.

Rs 11.91 lakh in cash, 18,684 litre liquor seized in Bihar

A release issued by the Chief Electoral Officer said that the police made the seizure from the districts of Madhubani, Bhojpur, Nawada, Vaishali, Munger and Supaul.

NDA, grand alliance neck and neck in Bihar

According to an opinion poll survey, NDA was projected to win 109-125 seats, while the alliance of Nitish Kumar's JD-U, Lalu Prasad's RJD and Congress is projected to get 104 to 120 seats in the 243-member Bihar Assembly. Others are projected to win 10-18 seats as per this poll.

Another opinion poll has projected the NDA to win 117 seats and the grand alliance projected to win 112 seats, leaving the remaining 14 seats for others.
